After many years of having to deal with the NHS GP, who didn’t seem to take my condition seriously, I decided to see a private GP. I saw Doctor Nagarajah and explained the problems I was having.

Dr Nagarajah was kind, patient and always professional and listened to my concerns and he was very understanding and accommodating. He immediately gave me a blood test and we discovered that I had Anaemia due to an underlying condition and he sent me to the hospital straight away to have a blood transfusion followed by vitamins and pain relief that I needed which was something the NHS didn’t suggest.

Dr Nagarajah spoke to NHS GP on my behalf, and I am now going for further treatment and test at an NHS teaching hospital that he suggested.

I can’t thank Dr Nagarajah enough for all his help without him I really don’t know where I would be. He is the first doctor I have spoken to who wasn’t in a hurry to get me out of the door because of time constraints and I was put at my ease when we discussed an plan of action. He has continued to support me throughout and was happy to answers my queries when I wasn’t sure about something.

There needs to be more Doctors like him - one of a kind. Thank you
