Answers To Your Questions

Will my insurance cover my visit?

Sometimes medical insurance will cover GP appointments although this is not often the case. Please check with your insurer to see if this is the case prior to booking your appointment.

If you are not insured consultations are usually £90 except from more complex appointments.

Why go private

Over the years the NHS has become increasingly stretched. GP appointments have become difficult to obtain and they are often rushed and with a doctor who does not know you or spend the time to get to know you.

By seeing me, I will ensure that I spend the right amount of time with you and provide the best care possible. In addition, the waiting times for investigations and tests will be far shorter.

Can I get a same-day appointment?

I have regular clinics at One Hatfield Hospital every Tuesday morning and every other Saturday. The hospital will do its best to fit you in to one of these clinics and if at one of these times this could almost certainly be on the same day.

Rest assured you will be in the best hands with myself at One Hatfield Hospital.

How long will a consultation last?

Normally a new patient consultation will last 20 minutes and a follow up 10 minutes, however I will ensure I spend as much time as is needed to deal with your problem.

Have a question I haven’t answered? Please contact the hospital directly and they will be happy to answer any query that you have.
